Day 3

Cael was the first one up this morning and he was super entertained to see that Spirit, our elf, had taken a friend to the North Pole with him last night.  It was so cute to listen to the boys speculate the adventure these two had together. 

Mondays are usually pretty fun for us!  We are priveleged enough to watch our friends' little boy every Monday and Tuesday mornings.  The boys get so excited to see him in the mornings.  I think Gram is quite fond of the boys too!  All smiles on Monday morning. 

Karter goes to Grandma and Grandpa's on Mondays when I go work.  That means that after school on Monday, Cael, Gaven, and I get some time to do "big kid" things.  We've designated this our library day.  Cael and Gaven really enjoy reading.  Cael has started reading the Harry Potter series. Gaven enjoys reading beginner chapter books and biographies of professional athletes.

Gaven wanted to have our neighbor over after school for some play time.  Timmy, teasing the boys.  They really enjoy playing SIMS on the Wii.  Karter came home from Grandma and Grandpa's in a great mood.

 

 

Gaven had Upward Basketball sign-ups and skills assessments tonight.  I don't think we've found a sport yet that he didn't want to "try".
